Founding attorney Lorraine Nwora brings 6 years of prosecutorial experience to that mission, and the firm extends the same standard to its personal injury and family law work.

Founding Attorney

Lorraine Nwora is the founding attorney of the Law Office of L.C. Nwora, PLLC and a graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She built the firm to give Houston clients the kind of aggressive and compassionate advocacy she felt the city's defendants and plaintiffs deserved. Six years on the prosecution side gave her an inside view of how the criminal justice system actually moves: what evidence holds up, what arguments land with judges, and where cases break down. She uses that experience to defend her clients today.

Lorraine takes on criminal defense, personal injury, and family law matters from the firm's office in the Westchase district of Houston. The work spans Harris County's busiest courts, including the Harris County Criminal Justice Center and the Harris County Family Law Center, and reaches into Fort Bend County and the surrounding communities when a case calls for it.

  • The firm's office sits at 9801 Westheimer Road in the Westchase district of Houston, minutes from the Sam Houston Tollway and the Galleria. From there we appear regularly across the Harris County criminal, civil , and family courts , with the criminal docket centered at 1201 Franklin and the family docket at 201 Caroline.
  • We accept matters in Fort Bend County when cases land at the Justice Center in Richmond, and we handle Dallas County matters that genuinely connect the two metros - cross-county custody, I-45 trucking crashes, and clients with ties on both ends of the corridor. Lorraine is licensed in Texas and the firm represents clients statewide when the facts warrant it.
